Comfort roof top hot spring, great breakfast and very good bed that give you a good sleep. The hotel is shorter than nearby hotel, some room do not have view. Many people stay in sat and sun, only have one hour time slot for breakfast. Overall, good experience and would stay again.

This hotel is close to the Omiya JR as well as the shopping mall. You may consider this hotel if you’re going to Spa Herbs for onsen because the shuttle bus station is located right in front of the entrance of the hotel. Overall this hotel is a satisfactory one.

Huone oli siisti, hiljainen ja siivottiin päivittäin. Se on hyvin lähellä Kuma***an asemaa, joten sieltä on kätevä päästä juniin, busseihin ja ravintoloihin. Hotellin ja Kuma***an aseman välillä on ylikulkusilta, mutta sen alla ei ole kävelytietä, mikä voi olla hankalaa, jos matkustat matkatavaroiden kanssa ja joudut kiertämään kadun toisella puolella. Aamiainen oli keskinkertainen, juuri sopiva vatsan täyttämiseen. Huoneen mukavuudet olivat hieman vanhanaikaiset, mutta hyvin hoidetut. Vaikka hotelli oli lähellä rautatieasemaa, se oli silti hyvin hiljainen yöllä.

Excellent location with a minute walk from the station. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly. There’s a public bath in the hotel which I didn’t expect for this price. I will definitely will visit again.

Surrounding with many
The hotel is easy access from Omiya station - west exit. It’s quite new, clean and modernized hotel. Bic Camera Omiya and SOGO Department Store(Omiya) is only a few minutes walking distance.

It is located near the train station, very convenient to travel. It takes 23 minutes to get to Ueno Station. It is clean, the food is delicious, and it is located near the mall. There are many places to eat nearby. The food is delicious and the price is cheaper than in Tokyo.

駅から近いです。
駅周辺には、アルコールなしの夕食を希望する方にとってのお店は少ないです。
部屋は広く、館内は清潔です。
歯ブラシ以外のアメニティグッズは有料です。
とても快適に過ごすことができるホテルです。また機会があれば利用したいです。

VVieraskäyttäjä4 Senior backpackers in Japan ”stumbled” onto this gem of a Japanese inn next to the Arakawa River. Less than 10 minute walk from the Kami-Nagatoro station and 10 minute walk to Nagatoro Station. We chose location due to proximity to river and start of river boat downstream river ride-sites. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown throughout our two-day stay. We were late in coming out of the mountains of Gunma prefecture (2 hour plus train ride away) and called the inn to notify and were subsequently told that this was no problem for check-in and supper. Fortunately we made up time lost and got to the inn earlier that expected and enjoyed the serene tree-lined river and men's and women's communal furo (shower/bath also in rooms) with outdoor views before dining. Then...we were overwhelmed by the quality and quantity of the dinner! A real treat to get a 7+ course Japanese meal featuring the specialty vegetables and protein of the region! Upon departure we chose to walk with packs back to Kami-Nagatoro Station, along the river, but the proprietor had the Inn van ready and waiting to take us to the train station. The included breakfast's were also multi-course Japanese style, with regional specialties.
Granted, the hotel is somewhat time-worn, probably seeing its zenith in the 80's and 90's but all the facilities were cleaning, usable and safe. All staff went made a great effort to ensure that we were enjoying the locale and the Inn. This location, in our opinion is much more serene and ”touristy” than the main area surrounding Nagatoro station but is only 10 minutes walking from that action. If opportunity arises, we will return. The Saitama Museum of Natural is just across the street but this large and modern facility was not open on our late arrival and on Monday. We left on Tuesday morning, but wanted to visit this place also.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe most important thing to remember about the Mark Grand is that Google Maps will show two Mark Grand hotels and one of them is wrong. Make sure that you find the correct address. The Mark Grand is a renamed and arguably improved upscale hotel in Saitama. It's a few train stops from Ueno and there's more than one way to get there depending if you're coming from say Shinjuku or Ueno. The rooms are immaculate with drip coffee, a humidifier, and you are given the option to have your room cleaned on specific days (not every day). JP customer service, as always, is excellent and although the breakfast buffet doesn't change, the options are more than enough to keep your palate satisfied for a week's stay. There's a Lawson at the second floor and an excellent gym, pool, and spa (not really an onsen). Unfortunately, the sports center isn't free and you have to pay a small fee (1200 yen) to use it but it's more than worth it. It's extremely popular with the older locals and make sure you visit in less busy times. There is a Cocoon mall nearby which is not busy and since the hotel is located in the CBD, you only come across salarymen rather than the annoying Western tourists. I also highly recommend the Railway Museum in Saitama, which is a short 2 stops away. If you're familiar with JP trains and don't mind the short commute, I highly recommend the hotel.

We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces.
Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste.
One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time!
Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

VVieraskäyttäjä所沢駅至近の立地で大変助かりました。予約段階でカプセルの下段をお願いしておりましたが、受付の若い男性から下段は予約で一杯なので、上段になりますと言われました。「予約でお願いしていたのですが」と当惑気味に答えたところ､年配の従業員さんが､私の宿泊票の年齢(71歳)を見て､すかさず下段に変えてくれました｡私が宿泊したのは土曜日でしたが､実際は空きが随分とあり､下段も何室か空いたままでした。
カプセルの中は他所に比べて大変広くて快適でしたが､難点は、隣室や上段の物音が気になる点とマットが薄くてやや背中が痛くなったこと､あと乾燥が酷くて､朝起きたら唇がガサガサになっていたことです。相対的にみて､5段階評価で言うと4位です。

VVieraskäyttäjälocation was good, only 5 mins walk from Seibu Chichibu station. My room got a very nice hill view, quiet and tranquil. The room was clean, very spacious in Japanese standard. Staff were very polite and helpful. There was one gentleman staff helped me to find packing material to wrap my walking stick that I bought from the temple during my 34 Kennon pilgrimage; so that I could bring it back home with me. Many thanks! By the way, the breakfast was very good with big array of food.

VVieraskäyttäjäVery nice hotel. Although it's not in the centre of Tokyo, it's very well connected. Direct train to Shibuya, Shinjuku, ikebukuro and so on. Good local amenities, two main supermarkets (one opened 24 hours), Seria (¥100 shop) and so on. For the people who need to do big shopping, Uniqlo is just downstairs, the pharmacy nearby is such a hit with the bargain price we have never seen anywhere within Tokyo. The room is tiny but efficient, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We usually stay in Asakusa Tobu hotel when we come to Japan but it's getting too pricey now. I'd say Wako Tobu is just as good. Will definitely stay here again!

Able to catch multiple free shuttles from/to Wado-Kuroya station. I just have to make a free call through the Trip.com app to contact the hotel, although the staff speaks little English, we were able to communicate using google translate, make sure to use simple language to make it easier for everyone if you are only English speaking.
Train at this station is not frequent so best to plan ahead.
Only to improve on is i wish we have bigger room for 4 people with the price we were paying. But overall it’s a nice traditional Japanese Ryokan.

RReygiezelAll in all good but check in is so very late 16::00 afternoon then the check out is very early 10:00 in the morning that’s only not good if you are travel along time you need to rest but this is not good to the travelers but they have considerable reason if they finished to clean the room they give you have to check in right away before 4 of the time as the time for check in that’s only the main reason that not accessible ?but it’s recommended also to those want to stay near in station of train and bus , near convinience store and restaurants to eat .
