The showerhead in the bathroom is fixed on the ceiling and cannot be detached, which is very inconvenient, especially for cleaning specific areas. 2. The bathroom mirror is too small and positioned too far away, making it difficult to use. 3. The hairdryer is not located in the room but in the living area, which is carpeted. Using the hairdryer in this setup easily makes the carpet wet, which is poorly designed. 4. The hairdryer’s temperature is not hot enough to effectively dry hair, making it very inconvenient for guests who need to get ready quickly. 5. The water quality in the hotel is problematic. So I'm pleased my feedback may have contributed to these much needed changes. However the window frames in our room were in a terrible state, covered in black mould and in desperate need of repair or replacement. Not a healthy presence to have anywhere. So hopefully this review will be seen by the right person/people and acted upon."

Really enjoyed the stay here, in the countryside, quiet. My room was phenomenal, a suite with separate seating area and TV with a super comfy bedroom. Decor was in great condition and the view over the river was stunning. Food in the restaurant was good and a bargain price with the 10% discount you receive for staying there. Staff were great warm and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The bed was terrible had a terrible night the mattress was so worn out it completely squashed together as I sat on the bed. When I reported it to reception the lady informed me that they were being replaced but for us not soon enough! Sadley as everything else was ok

Great location for a hotel - closer to city centre with a nice walk across the river to get there. Convenient stop to visit family in my home-town. Over-all a good hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. We didn't come into contact with any staff or stay for breakfast as we were in late and out early, so we can't comment on those. We loved that the room had a bath - this was lovely! The only downside was the the taps seemed to have some mould inside the pipes... it didn't come out into the water but it did look pretty disgusting hanging there in the running water :/  Other than that, this hotel gave us everything we would expect from a quick stop over :)
