If you're looking for a seamless transit stay in Kunming, this hotel is an absolute gem for travelers. The airport pickup and drop-off service is easily the standout feature—it’s punctual, professional, and takes all the stress out of navigating a layover. I was lucky enough to stay on the 8th floor, and the room was ”super duper” nice; it felt modern, incredibly clean, and offered a high-end atmosphere that made for a perfect resting spot. For the quality and convenience you get, the price point is spot on, making it the best value-for-money option in the area. It turned a quick transit into a highlight of my trip, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable, comfortable base near the airport.

This is a very nice hotel, great location, good rooms and excellent, helpful staff. But the hotel gets bad marks in two areas. First, the food was generally very good but the Western breakfast buffet choices were nearly always cold. I tried three days in a row to get poached eggs that were not hard boiled. On the third day I got what I wanted but even then the eggs were stone cold. The second issue was the the lack of necessary security staff. The lobby bar was nice and had a young woman playing guitar in the evenings but on our second evening 4 drunks were drinking, shouting and smoking and refused to stop when the hotel staff intervened. After this things escalated and instead of having hotel security throw them out the drunks started harassing us and it got ugly so we left for our room. The hotel called our room to apologize but it was not equipped to deal with this situation and needs to have better control over their public areas. A lesson to be learned. I will be sending a separate letter to Accor management giving full details of this unfortunate event.

Hotel is really close to the airport. Very convenient pick up and drop off service from the hotel. The rooms are large and clean, free water, coffee, tea. Breakfast said to be included but I did not see any, perhaps too early. Slept well had good shower and was in the airline lounge within an hour from waking up.

A beautiful hotel located in a fantastic place in Lijiang Old Town. The owner was very welcoming and on arrival let us leave our bags for us to explore the town and when we returned he welcomed us with his own Chinese tea. The room was great! Good size, very comfortable beds, warm, good shower and toilet too. It had a lovely courtyard view and window seat. The owner helped us and answered all of our questions through WeChat and let us leave our bags for our fins day. We would 100% recommend!

This charming homestay is tucked away on a quiet side street, just a quick 2-minute walk from the main Lianian Street. My friends and I loved the beautiful courtyard and traditional architecture — it really captured the local character of Jianshui. We only stayed one night, right after the Golden Week holidays, and were pleasantly surprised that the staff could arrange spacious rooms for us on the same second floor (I’d recommend choosing the second floor over the first). The staff were friendly and very responsive to our questions and requests. One thing to note: because it’s designed in a traditional courtyard style, you can hear other guests talking if you leave your windows open — but that’s part of the authentic atmosphere!

We got upgraded to suite with one bedroom for free! Could never imagine we will get this experience. The room was so big and comfortable for family with toddler. My kid was happily running around here and there playing with her toys because of the huge space. The location was nearby Shuncheng Street where we can access the halal foods and also very nearby to the famous Nanping Pedestrian Street. Cleanliness and hospitality was top tier. We thank the hotel for the nice opportunity for our family :)

10/10 will book this hotel again in Kunming!! The location is right smack in the city centre, easy to get around to Nanpibg street by foot (10 mins walk), shuncheng shopping mall. A lot of eateries nearby, no need to worry about it. The hospitality of the staff is also amazing as well, making our stay unforgettable.

Incredible location! Right in the heart of the best street food spot in Kunming, surrounded by cute lantern-lit streets and boutique stores. The whole area is really walkable and close to key landmarks like Zhong’ai Lane. Hotel itself was grand and beautiful inside. Large rooms with an unbeatable view over the old town. Roof garden was also gorgeous. Would stay again!

The hotel is located right at the border gate, making it extremely convenient for travelers like me departing in the evening for an early morning trip to Kunming the next day. The staff were exceptionally helpful—they ensured a swift check-in and even booked a taxi for us to Hekou Station early the following morning. Our room was clean. A minor note: Due to the building’s layout, you’ll need to carry your luggage a short distance to the mezzanine floor, even though there’s an elevator. The elevator itself is also a bit slow.

Highly recommend for solo travellers – warm, comfortable, and incredibly welcoming! I had a wonderful stay at The Snow Realm · Petit Tusi ******* Boutique Lodge and would absolutely book there here again. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe and well looked after. The owner is kind and gracious, and the aunties at the hotel are genuinely warm and welcoming. Service & extras: The free airport pick-up and drop-off included with the stay was a great service. Complimentary drinking water was provided daily, and the hearty Tibetan/Chinese breakfast each morning was a really lovely touch. The owner also helped me arrange a driver for day trips to Songzanlin Monastery, Napahai, and Balagezong Scenic Area—everything was seamless. Room & comfort: My visit was in late January with temperatures ranging between -8 to +6 degrees celsius. Coming from tropical FNQ Australia, I was worried about the cold—but the room was incredibly well equipped with heating, an oxygen machine, dehumidifier, and even a heated toilet seat. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in—so warm and cozy! Location: Great position on the edge of Dukezong Old Town, with a supermarket and plenty of restaurants nearby. Cleanliness & design: The room was spotless, modern, and hygienic, with beautiful ******* design touches that made the stay feel really special. I only wish my Mandarin was better, but we managed perfectly well using the Google Translate app. A truly warm, comfortable, and memorable stay—thank you again! I look forward to my next visit.
