The room was immaculate, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, the linens fresh, and everything—from the bathroom to the minibar—was spotless. I also appreciated how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was, perfect for unwinding after exploring the beautiful sights of Palawan. One of the highlights of my stay was the morning breakfast buffet. It offered a great variety of local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. From tropical fruits and made-to-order eggs to Filipino favorites and good coffee, it was the perfect way to start each day. The dining staff were equally wonderful—friendly, efficient, and attentive. Considering the high level of comfort, cleanliness, and service, the affordability of this hotel is truly impressive. We had an amazing stay at Funny Lion Puerto Princesa! From check-in until we left, the service was excellent and the staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They made us feel welcome the entire time. We also appreciated the little extras — the complimentary minibar items and snacks were such a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special. Overall, we had a really comfortable and enjoyable experience here, and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Puerto Princesa. Highly recommended!

The resort is remote but it has spectacular views of a tranquil bay. The infinity pool looks out to it and surrounding islands. We upgraded to a bay view bungalow which is much nicer than the cheaper waterfront room. The food is very good and the service is even better. The island hopping tours are great. The gym is very small though if you are into fitness. There is no beach. Other than that, it is a great resort. Quiet and peaceful.

Absolute Paradise I cannot recommend Astoria Palawan enough! My husband and I recently stayed in one of the Villas, and it was the perfect home away from home. The space, the privacy, and the gorgeous views made our trip truly special. One of the highlights was the boat trip to the sand bar—a slice of heaven in the middle of the water. The team that took us out ensured we were safe and comfortable the entire time, making the experience completely worry-free and magical. The food was consistently excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffets, which offered a fantastic variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. For evening relaxation, we loved having drinks at The Dome—the atmosphere is unmatched. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I want to send a huge thank you to Segundo at the Canopy reception for his warm and efficient service. A special shout-out to Jacqklyn at The Dome for her wonderful evening service and making our nights out special, and to Mark at the Habitat Restaurant for his attentive care during our meals. Our last four nights in paradise the swim up room was amazing we used that pool for a lot of hours nice to have our own deck and access. We ate all our meals here breakfast was included and was good the options were lacking a bit but we found enough to eat! Dinner we ate here because we were lazy and didn’t want to go out! The food was good not great but good not always the same the next day was strange! The beach was great the tides gos out for miles so there is lots to walk! The massage place was great she worked all my kinks out. But I would not recommend the nail salon was very basic not much to choose from for Color and she was late then when she did arrive had to go home for tools she forget! The hotel staff were all very helpful! The pool bar was nice and Mark made some fancy drinks!

The hotel is beautiful!! Our room is amazing!! Love all the sculptures and fine details they have all over the hotel. The pools are huge and water is nice and warm! The staff is welcoming and friendly! Would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to other travelers.
